I am writing this letter in rump to appeal the rejection letter I received on filiation 12, 2011. I lived with my aunt and grandmother, off and on, for most of my earlier long time. The consecutive of my eight grade family my mother started doing go no-good and intractable it was time for me to move moxie with her, in Louisiana. I lastly developed a relationship with my older blood brother and this was something I always desired. My brother wasnt the best kid, alone he last made a turn in his deportment and started doing positive things. He extremityed to make a better demeanor for himself and he encouraged me with the same ideas. Unfortunately, his look was taken, callable to foolishness. I will never for fall the recall call, it merely didnt seem real. The vision that I prayed for years was finally reality, but by the act of violence that dream became a nightmare. I had never experienced this type of hurt, losing a sib or anyone clos e to me, before this. I was devastated. I illogical interest in everything I so formerly yearned for, which was college and hoops. I transferred schools, three times and my grades dropped tremendously. I opinionated to attempt concern and I attained a part-time business line at Popeyes, which as time went by as macrocosm a full-time. I put my education on the back burner, but thanks to God and the guidance of my aunt and my mother, is when I decided to make a change. My grades improved extremely and I was acknowledge for that accomplishment, in my 11th grade year. The past year and ½ of life has bestowed in me an enormous vision of my future. The University of Houston offers a large student body with diverse likes and dislikes, and several activities, both, academic and non-academic, to enter in and I see myself sharing that with the student body.
